PUBLIC CALL

FOR PROFESSORS AND ASSISTANTS AND THEIR ENGAGEMENT IN TEACHING
UNIVERSITY “PRIVREDNA AKADEMIJA” BRČKO (IN FOUNDATION)

In accordance with Article 81 of the Statute of the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District of BiH, and pursuant to the Law on Higher Education of the Brčko District of BiH, the Law on Higher Education of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Labor Law of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Senate of the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District of BiH, at its first session, adopts the decision to announce a public call for teachers, professional associates, and assistants to work at this institution. Teachers, teaching associates, and assistants will be engaged according to the applicable legal regulations in the Brčko District of BiH (establishing an employment relationship, supplementary work, contract for temporary and occasional jobs, etc.).

The competition for the selection of teachers and teaching associates is open for every subject listed in the attachment to this public call, and the commission that will perform the selection of teaching staff is obliged to conduct an oral interview before engagement, and to make a selection of the registered candidates with whom the Rector of the University will conclude a contract after the selection, in accordance with the Labor Law of the Brčko District of BiH.
The public call is open from December 15, 2020, until the vacant positions are filled, for a maximum of two months from the opening of the call. All persons who meet the requirements in accordance with the Law on Higher Education of the Brčko District of BiH and the Framework Law on Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina may participate in the public call. Every interested candidate is obliged to submit certified copies of the following documents in person or by mail:

1. Biography (must include e-mail address and contact phone number);
2. Bibliography;
3. Diplomas of completed I, II, and III cycles of studies;
4. Election to the title (assistant, senior assistant, docent, associate professor, full professor);
5. Statement of intent to engage in teaching;
6. Persons who do not have an election to a title but meet the requirements for election shall submit an Application for election to the appropriate title with all attachments, which the commission of this University will review and, if necessary, perform the election to the first title (assistant or docent) for which the person meets the requirements.

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY WILL NOT BE RETURNED, so we ask that you submit everything in the form of a certified copy.
Information will not be provided by phone; interested persons will find all requirements in the Law on Higher Education of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH, no: 30/09 and 29/18).
